TROUBL ESHOOTING
ENGINE WON’T START
Be sure the 866F is disarmed or that you don’t have the immobilizer
turned on in Sleep mode. You should not see the Status LEDashing.
Check the battery voltage.
WORRIED TRANSMITTER BATTERY MAY DIE
See the bottom of page 11 underManual Disarming.
The CR1616 batteries used can be purchased at any convenience store.
SIREN SOUND NOT LOUD ENOUGH
This could be due to the mounting location. Some bikes offer more in-
sulation inside the under-seat compartment that others, which may
attenuate the sound level. In such a case, we recommend installing
the optional battery backup siren. This optional product is fully water-
proof and mounts outside the seat where you can hear the full 120dB
siren blast! Backup battery keeps the siren going even if wires are cut.
